I was given the wonderful opportunity to participate in and photograph the Knot Marketplace Party at the VanAndel Museum in Grand Rapids for the Knot Magazine's Fall/Winter issue. This party is given by the Knot to show appreciation for the area wedding artists and vendors. What a wonderful time!
Chandra Demers of Weddings, Inc. put together yet another classy, cool event featuring local vendors from Traverse City. She is truly amazing at what she does and you should definitely hire her if you want a stress free and unique wedding day!

Hey, it's that time of year again! Woohoo! Summer is here!
I'm getting tons of requests for family sessions,
so I thought I'd take a little time to share some info and a little bit about my style.
Here is a slideshow that best describes my laid back style and the fun that can be had.
This is from one of my favorite 2006 sessions at one of my favorite summer rentals to work at, Roby's Retreat in Omena, MI. Why is it a favorite? The light was great, the location ideal and this large family looks terrif all dressed to put focus on the face and not the clothes.
Not to mention, they were a total blast and I want to have fun.

Well, I designed a guestbook for their guests to sign on their wedding day.
Everyone LOVED it!
There are so many awesome things about these books.

3) The catty girls are going to be soooooooo jealous. :)
